- Midwest Pallative Care Center - offers grief support groups that provide a non-judgmental and confidential atmosphere for adults, children and teens who have experienced a loss. Grief support groups are offered at no charge. Click here to check their current schedule of support groups, or call (800) 331-5484 for more information.
- The Center for Parent Education - offers skills training classes for parents with children ages one through 18. Call (847)920-0800 to find out what classes are currently being offered.
Social Skills Groups

Social Skills and Teen Talk

 Social Skills and Teen Talk
A group for children ages 8-12 that provides social opportunities and building relational skills. Through creative group activities, cooperative games and experiential coaching, children willl learn to read social cues, initiate and maintain peer relationhships, and improve problem solving skills.
Various teen groups are also offered, focusing on providing social opportunities and building relational skills. Teen groups provide opportunities for group discussion, fun activities and creative ways to express feelings.
