HOMEWORK 12/2

READING: 1. December 1st was the last date for the independent reading form. Please keep reading for fun. We will have a diorama due at the end of January, which we will discuss on January 5th. Save a shoe box.

2.Review the definitions of internal and external conflict, characterization, character traits, character motivation, stated theme, and implied theme.

LA: 1. Get your permission slip signed and start thinking about your topic. 10 points extra credit if you bring your permission slip by Friday. No permission slips will be accepted after Friday.

2. Study your spelling words for Thursday.

3. Page 407 (Writer's Craft). Make chart for verb, type, DO, PW. (4 columns). Due Thursday.

READING: Study for the Benchmark test tommorrow. You can use your notes, so make sure you have definitions and examples of all the skills we have covered in reading so far. You can find that information in the textbook (online too).

LA: Grammar homework is due tommorrow.

GENERAL MATH - PERIOD 2

The students who did NOT pass the test of fraction computation will be retaught the material this week with extra practice worksheets.  The students who passed will be working on enrichment work.
