Science Fair

Science Fair on Feb. 5

At the Lighted Schoolhouse event on February 5th we celebrated all of the 8th and 7th graders' work of the past few months with a huge display of poster boards. Many parents, teachers and the administrative staff came to meet the young scientists and see the projects.

Many seventh and eighth grade students are continuing to do comprehensive background research on their science fair topics. The library is open every day after school from 3:00 to 3:30 for students who wish to spend additional time doing research or homework. Due to a faculty meeting at 3:00, the library will be closed after school on Wed., Oct. 17.

Last week seventh graders, and this week eighth graders, have begun to explore possible topics for their science fair projects by examining a variety of science resources in the library.  Students are making exciting connections between their areas of interest and what they'd like to do as an experiment.
