Introduction to Mr. Sasso's Blog

Mr. Sasso, PrincipalI am entering my 17th year in education. I received my Bachelors Degree from St. Norbert College in 1989 and received my first Masters from the University of Illinois (Circle) in Social Work. I went back to school and received a Masters in Educational Leadership from Northeastern Illinois in 2000.

I started out as a school Social Worker in Arlington Heights School District 25 and came over to Lincoln Hall in 2000 as the Assistant Principal. In both District 25 and District 74 I worked extensively with the Special Education Department.

This is my second year as Principal and I look at each day as an opportunity to help middle school children feel more successful. I view educators in high regard because of the awesome responsibility we have to teach children. I believe my niche is working with middle school students and their parents. My educational background and experiences focused on middle school students in the social/emotional and educational domains.

My wife, Lisa, teaches middle school and we have two elementary-age children, Elena and Paul, who occupy all of my time when I am not at Lincoln Hall working with your children.
