6th GRADE ART
Students will take a quiz this week on those concepts we covered this quarter, and will finish the quarter by learning how to draw by the ancient Egyptian technique of gridding, and will create a 6 foot high drawing of an ancient Chinese emperor.
7th GRADE ART
Students are finished with their Impressionistic paintings – they came out looking very nice! We will finish out the quarter by learning a how to create a perspective drawing. Students will create their own perspective drawing as a final project.
8th GRADE ART
Students are continuing with their painting in the style of their chosen artist. They are working on a relatively large canvas, and will be finishing up this week.
8th GRADE VIDEO TECH
Students are now starting on their last project, which is a video for the PE dept. My video students were asked by the P.E. department to create a video introducing the PE classes and procedures to the 6th graders who come to Lincoln Hall and need to learn all the ins an outs how things are done at Lincoln Hall.
