The most important things you can bring to class are: Enthusiasm – class is more fun when you are excited to learn! Participation – people who participate more will have more practice with the language. Self-discipline – be prepared on a daily basis.
It’s almost time to take the National Spanish Exam! The following link will provide you with practice exams that have been given in past years.
You will take the Level 1 exams. There are two parts. The ACHIEVEMENT part of the exam tests your grammar and vocabulary. The PROFICIENCY part of the exam tests your reading and listening comprehension.
Here’s what you should do after you get to the practice exam site…
Los estudiantes completed Unidad 5 Etapa 2 with a party planing project. Now, they are on their way to Unidad 5 Etapa 3. The vocabulario in this etapa focuses on la comida – food – and los números – numbers. The gramática in the etapa focuses on superlatives and the past tense. By the end of the etapa, the estudiantes will have the opportunity to prepare comida from different parts of the Spanish-speaking world! Below
Los estudiantes have begun Unidad 5 Etapa 2. This etapa focuses on parts of la casa and los quehaceres. The gramática of the etapa focuses on el presente progresivo, los adverbos, and el verbo deber. Los estudiantes did very well on their first prueba de vocabulario. Below are the remainder of the pruebas and examen for the etapa.
