In the spot light in the upper right hand corner of your screen type in "converter".

A program called XML Converter will appear.

Select that program (XML Converter) to open it.

Once XML Converter is open drag your file to where it says "drag file here". That is it :)

You may want to double click on the name of the file in your folder (Not the picture icon) and it should allow you to rename the file. You will know this because it will highlight everything in blue. Change the extension which is .rft to .doc by deleting the letters rft and retyping doc.
