We are about at the midpoint of the quarter -time is flying!  The 8th graders are working on their first Public Service Announcement (Video Tech), or their second ceramic project.  The 7th graders are working on their functional ceramic container, which should be fired by next week.  And the 6th grade has finished their figure drawing, and is moving on to a paper mache sculpture.  The new work should be displayed soon, either in the halls, or on WLH (the TV station)!

Lincoln Hall Artists at Niles West

Selected artwork from our student artists here at Lincoln Hall will be part of the "Transitions" art show at Niles West which features the strongest work from the Art classes so far this year.  This show includes 20 works from grades 7 and 8 and will be displayed at the Niles West Auditorium Gallery along with the top artwork from the other middle schools/junior high schools in our area.  All are invited to attend the reception to honor these young artists.  The reception will be held in the Niles West Auditorium Gallery lobby on Thursday evening, February 4th, 2010, starting at 6:00 pm, wi

Welcome back!  It is now 2010 - time flies when your having fun!  The end of the 2nd quarter is coming up soon (Jan. 20th), and many activities will be starting up as well.  The Annual "Transitions" Art Show at Niles West is coming up - more info on that soon, so keep checking back here to see the latest.
