Mr. Michel, Assistant Principal
Jerry Michel has been actively involved in education for over twenty years. His past experience includes serving as a literacy consultant to school systems throughout the state, ten years as a classroom teacher, and post graduate degrees from the University of South Florida and National Louis University. During his tenure at Devonshire School in Skokie, he served as Language Arts Coordinator and a teacher leader in multiple curriculum initiatives.
Mr. Michel is a frequent presenter at regional and national conferences, including the 2010 International Reading Association conference here in Chicago.
