The Literacy Center is a popular lunch time destination! Last week an average of 58 students came everyday. They come for different reasons, but they all come prepared to take advantage of the time. Some come to make up tests due to absence while others come to work on test corrections. Many want to study for a test or finish a project. Working ahead on homework, or getting caught up keeps many students coming back. Students use the computer to finish a paper, take a math test, or print up work they started at home. Students ask for help if they need it. All the students are welcome and they seem to appreciate the time, assistance, and a comfortable place to work.
