All classes: Daily Oral Language (grammar)
Vocabulary (Orange Unit 5, Blue 6 or 7)Â
Period 1/2 - Reading One Fat Summer.
Periods 4/5 and 7/8 - Reading Immigration related novels.Â
EVERY CLASS - Career Unit. Students will use a computer program to take an interest inventory, then create a brochure and resume about their future career.Â

Teach the class the new word, its pronunciation, part of speech, and definition. Be creative in how you get the information across to the other students. Check word with Mrs. Kotrba first. 25 points each word, only one word a month per student.
