4th Grade Recruiting - It's Time to Join Band or Orchestra!
Submitted by Mrs Spindler on Tue, 2008-09-02 09:45.This week, Mr. Jones and I will visit 4th grade music classes to demonstrate some of the instruments of the band and orchestra. Students will then have the option of trying the instruments they are interested in and then joining the band or orchestra. Attached, you will find the information that your student received from us and should be bringing home from school.
Learning an instrument is a great way for your child to develop his or her confidence, brainpower, and become part of a team. Research has shown that students who commit to learning an instrument excel in other areas of academics as well. This helps them attain their full potential as well-rounded citizens.
Watch for more information about joining band or orchestra coming soon!
